I spent a lot of time looking at the Romitas, CHAMBA and Alex Ross' work yesterday and today and I've been trying to draw harder angles. I found out 12 midnight while I was drawing this that drawing these kinds of angles are extremely easy for me to do -- when I allow myself to just do them. (I know, I totally sound like a Nike ad!) What I mean is that many times I see pictures from artists like those and dream often about how I could draw a picture like them, but then when faced with the paper, I blank, literally; because if I draw one little curve that's not the way I want it - I quit. It's a beginner's habit but it still plagues me. This was my chance to just let go and it once again came out better than I expected! Hope ya'll enjoy it!
